I'm an Award-Winning Independent Kent Celebrant - known in the celebrant world as "Modern Ceremonies with Justine". Whilst I live close to Maidstone, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Ashford and Tonbridge Wells in Kent, my ceremonies don't just take place in Kent - I venture further afield to Sussex, London and beyond.

As "Modern Ceremonies with Justine", I do what it says on the tin - I am contemporary in my style and outlook creating beautiful unfussy ceremonies; I also use modern systems to make your life easier and our communication more efficient thereby creating a stress free but very personal ceremony. I would love to work with you to create a stunning ceremony that truly reflects your values, beliefs and personalities.

I really LOVE to perform outdoor weddings or be close to nature such as Jess and Andy's Barn Wedding - I specialise in woodland settings, barns, oasts, vineyards, orchards and beautiful gardens. I personalise every ceremony - to make the words really meaningful - always ensuring that the ceremony is stunning both to the ear and the eye. I like to include fun and visual rituals such as gin and cocktail mixing and wine blending ceremonies to add a bit of a twist (if the couple are up for it!) and will happily talk to you about incorporating other symbolic rituals such as handfasting or sand ceremonies.

As a celebrant at a funeral, celebration of life or memorial, I spend a lot of time getting to know the life stories and loves of the person we are saying goodbye to. I like to create a calm, serene but also an uplifted atmosphere, where the words are carefully researched and crafted for the life we are celebrating - I truly believe a life should be celebrated so there will be haopiness as well as tears as we remember and celebrate them.
